My name is Kristen and I am the designer of Little Lambs. I am a stay-at-home mom of three handsome little boys and have been blessed with a wonderful husband for over 11 years. Growing up, I created all kinds of things, many of which I learned through my local 4-H club. I especially loved sewing, knitting, and painting ceramics. After high school, my creative fun was put on hold while I went to college and started a career in teaching. After teaching at a community college, a high school, and getting a Master's degree in education, my husband and I found out we were expecting our first little boy! It was at this time that I finally had fun again creatively as I made the bedding, accessories, and drapes for his nursery.
After staying home with my little one for a while I realized that, even though I loved being home with my son, I missed the independence of having my own career. I became driven to find a business that I was passionate for but would still provide the flexibility of time at home with my children. It was in the summer of 2008, after I made myself a nursing cover for my new baby boy, that I figured out what I would absolutely have a passion for- designing sewing patterns!
Having the Little Lambs business has taken a lot of hard work, learning, and patience but I am amazed at what God has done through the gifts He has given me. I am thankful for my husband who has always been encouraging and supportive of me and has provided business help in so many ways. I am also very appreciative of my mom who helps me constantly with pattern packaging and hanging out with my 3 little monkeys whenever I need it! If it weren't for friends and family, I don't know what I would do!!
